Too many things to say, too little time

Dear Diary,

After finding out that Hobby Lobby had another 1/2 off sale for scale models yesterday, I called DCU to transfer money to my checking account since I went over my computer transactions. Then I went to the Arlington Branch and got got myself an Accurate Miniatures Dauntless (AT LAST!!! ...if you were reading that far back my blog) and a Monogram AV-8B with free book (only bought this because I already purchased a detail set and references online). Then I drove to the Lewisville branch which was closer home. I tried getting some of the clearanced ships and a Tamiya Ford Mutt in the hopes that I could ebay them off later but the lady said they won't have any discounts because they were already on clearance. I just didn't get them and went to look for something else instead.

I found a Tamiya 1/48 F-84G Thunderjet (the "Thunderbirds" boxing) without a price tag. I saw one with a tag that says $37.99 or something but I wanted to try my luck so I asked the closest guy which is some assistant manager fixing the end caps. He took a book containing the listing of things in the store and we tried to look for the model kit. It wasn't there. He said because it is discontinued, he will give it to me for the price of the lowest-priced tamiya kit in there which is $24.99 but since they have the half-off sale, he marked it $11.99. Being a lilttle bit guilty because I didn't tell him that there is another one on the shelf with a tag, I asked if he should be putting on the $24.99 tag instead of $11.99 because they discount things in the lanes.  He said I should tell them at the counter that. So I went to the checkout lanes with my model kit. The lady punched in the 50% off before I could tell her about the price. I kinda intended this because, honestly, I was a bit tempted not to mention anything at all. But my conscience got me so I did and she was unbelieving at first so she had to call the guy. The guy confirmed but the the lady can't cancel the transaction! Sh said "Y'know what, don't worry about it," and proceeded to give me the modell for 5.99 plus tax!! So I got the model worth $37.99 for $5.99!!! This rivals my B-25Bpurchase percentwise! I love Hobby Lobby.

I still am kinda guilty tho. However, I was honest the whole time in the store and the people there gave me the price and I never tried to cheat them or anything.

Anyway, as my title implied, I have too many things to say but I dunno when to start. Two weeks ago, Josh visited us again. it was fun. We went to Six Flags that Tuesday and it was well worth it. I haven't had that much fun lately. We rode the Splash Water (Soaking us wet twic ebut it was fine since it was freakin hot anyway), Texas Giant, Superman, Judge Scream, Batman, the ride, Mr Freeze (the best!) and The Titan. We even bought in-ride pictures but my sister lost one of them (the better one of the two!) that night and that is still a mystery.

I didnt get to hang out with Josh much during his stay because of school and stuff. Anyway, we hung out at nights by either watching DVD movies or Family Guy episodes on my computer.  That thursday, Josh and my sister went to UTA to watch Home on the Range as I sell hotdogs. of course, because of my sister, they were late. There wasn't even 30 minutes in the movie when they arrived.

I had a Thermo test that Wednesday. It was supposed to be on monday but thanks to the TA, the test was postponed for two days. I studied for it but I think it was really really really hard so my mind just started to quit towards the end settling for a B. The next Monday,  I found out I failed miserably (53/100), effectively toppling my chances of getting an A.  I was depressed the following days but I am getting over it.

I had another test yesterday, and this time, I studied harder. I read the chapter several times during the weekend and did most of the example problems. I believe it paid off because I answered everything so I have high chances of getting a 100. There is still a higher chance of getting less than that so I am praying that I do. I was actually disappointed because it didn't have any bonus points to pull up my first exam's grade  but may God's will be done. I have no other thing I can do but wait for the results.

Again, I have been spending like crazy on ebay. I have been finding ALOT of great deals lately so i am sort of splurging with my salary. Fr. Mike said I should make a sacrifice but i dunno when to make it. I will talk more about it tomorrow. Maybe I should stop surfing for things to buy for now and adding things to my watch list.

Work is fine. I got my first Bull's Eye (it's our code for a guest availing for a Target Visa) last tuesday. It was ironic because I did not even ask! This couple asked me while I was zoning the domestics.  Then last Sunday I was a backup cashier when the store closed. For some reason, I felt that the guest would say yes if I offer her the TGT Visa so I did. She declined at first but when she saw that she can save almost $30, she became my second bull's eye. It felt so good. I never believed I could even get a bull's eye in my entire time in Target.

I think that's all for now. Until next time.
