Ok. I admit I haven't been updating much lately (the past weekend, to be more specific). My Physics teacher decided to give us a lot of HW (Three chapters for the whole week). It was crappy timing cuz I also got a chem test last monday. More on that later...

Saturday: I went to celebrate "Join Hands Day" with the UTA Volunteers. T'was fun. We went with UTA Americorps and the Girl Scouts. We got to hang out with the seniors, chat with them and play fun games (Name Bingo and Trivia). It was a really fulfilling experience that made me miss my almost pointless conversations with my mother's side grandma. owell. My sis also adopted a dog from SPCA. he's a black 4-yr-old cocker spaniel named Branson. So cute! Of course I still love Piggy but the family have to move on... My girlfriend was suggesting we name him "Robespierre" and my sister wants the name "Radar" so we just stuck with "Branson."

Sunday: Mama and sis brought Branson to the vet and he/she (i dont really know) said that his ears have an infection. Now, he is under medication. Right now, like a new baby, he is the center of attention --- and he craves alot of it. he howls and barks whenever he is left alone in the house (or when he thinks he was). He also got destructive when we left him for church (he ripped a roll of bathroom tissue). bad dog.

The evening was spent with studying for Chem test, trying to figure out Physics HW and last, but not the least, speaking with my love.
Monday: after staying at the UTA Volunteers table for the freshmen orientations, I spent most of the day trying to prepare for my chemistry test that night even in my Uta Volunteers office hour. In chemistry class, the test was ok but harder than what I expected. i am expecting a grade lower than usual since im not sure with all of my answers. I am still hoping for an A tho.

They bought Branson a chew toy so the destructive tendencies are expected to be lessened.

Today, Tuesday: Went to school in the morning to do interest sessions. after that, I tried to do some of the Physics HW until monica called me to give her a ride to Albertson's. I obliged and it was fun. After about an hour, I proceeded to Parking lot and I called my hunnie. Can you believe that??!?!? I called my Kat on the phone!!!!!!! Finally!! She got a really nice lovely voice.. or maybe it was just me. owell. We talked for over thirty minutes and it was mainly about "how-was-your-day" and "gear shifts." we both think that we should do it more often so i will! That is so far the highlight of my day. This is surely a day to be remembered.

And yeah, I almost forgot, UTA Volunteers was in the Shorthorn (the school paper) for last Saturday's "Join Hands Day" activity. My name was supposed to be in there.

Mark Yebera? Who the heck is that!?!?!?
