After you think that everything is goin so smooth, a big black dog will come from behind and bite ur butt (sorry, i didn't wanna say "ass" cuz kat said that's a cuss). This morning, I checked the mail and found that the Ciy of Arlington issued a warrant of my arrest. They are saying that i didn't pay for my moving volation ticket (remember the stop sign?) However, I haven't heard from them about the deferred adjudication! They said they will send me a notice in 4-6 weeks weeks and guess what, the didn't! Now, I have a warrant and a heart that is totally freakin out. They are also asking me to pay $217! That's almost twice the amount of the original ticket! They totally piss me off. Now, I won't be able to drive around arlington streets not worrying that there are cops out there lurking in the shadows ready to pounce on some college kid.

Now I don't wonder why there are so many terrorists that hate the government

I already emailed the detective twice. I also left him a message on the phone (he doesn't pick up on weekends, I guess). On monday, my first agenda will be to try to call the detective AND the Arlington municipal court. Three of my friends already told me not to show up personally as they might arrest me on the spot (how comforting of them). This being my first offense, I really have no idea how to deal with them. I am now scared to go there but I also don't know how to contest the warrant (because obviously, they didn't send me anything about the deferred adjudication thingy). I am also thinking of using the teen court to just do community service. Being in the UTA Volunteers can surely give me alot of opportunities in these kinds of situations.

I didn't really expect this to come this far after a pretty good week, including me being able to kat whenever her parents aren't around..... owell... life sure sucks.

also this afternoon, we were watching "Big, Fat Greek Wedding" and my mom was like "hindi ko kayo pipigilang mag-asawa ng ibang lahi, basta kelangan lang, Katoliko." Thought of me and my hunnie flash into my head. Kat is not Catholic and my Mama is already declaring her disapproval before she even knew. Owell. It always boil down to my choice anyway. i will never let my parents interfere with my love interest/s.

Another thing, we went to kohl's today and mama bought me five new shirts and two new shorts! yay! a fresh new set to my aging clothing line. but that happines is temporary. I can't keep myself from thinking what could happen to me in case a cop pull me over and arrest me for that oustanding warrant. gah... stupid cops! Stupid Arlington law enforcement (---kat)!
